While you may be a business owner with one or ten years of experience, there will always be new things to learn about marketing and branding your business. What most business owners typically don't realize is that you must think and look the part of the company you are trying to promote and there are many factors to consider when creating a solid, marketable brand.

I am the principal and chief brand strategist at Studio Brand Collective, a Houston marketing and branding agency. I am also an avid marketer, social journalist and brand enthusiasts.

I enjoy marketing and helping to grow the brands I work with whether through social media, brand development, interactive marketing and online marketing. I’m a marketing strategist. I have real experience in the trenches working with brands and small business, but I also have experience working with a global corporation as well as large organizations. I’ve helped many companies build their brands and their social following across many platforms. I enjoying working with start-up and established brands, building their brands through multiple marketing channels. My focus is balancing real business expectations with business growth.

We work together to define your marketing objectives, focusing on how you increase sales by acquiring and retaining your customers. After we’ve defined your objectives, I work with you to create a strategy. This strategy will set marketing budgets and deadlines, but it will also tell you how your brand should interact with your target market – whether that’s through advertising, content marketing, networking, trade shows, direct marketing, etc..

Timing your activities to fit into your customers’ buying cycles will save you money and maximize sales. An effectively executed marketing strategy tailors your core message and creates the right mix of marketing activities, which will effectively increase your brand awareness and revenue.

Meet Karee – Strategist,

innovator and dog lover!

Born on the tiny island of Jamaica and raised with big ideals and a “can-do” attitude, I’ve always believed in the infinite possibility of what you can conceive, you can achieve.

I’ve had the great fortune of working with many brands, small and large businesses, but by far the most rewarding aspect of my job is working one-on-one with entrepreneurs and business owners. For many years I’ve struggled with my true calling. I’ve been to law school, business school, corporate america and back, and about the only thing that seems to keep reverberating inside my head is the need to help, nurture and make the impossible that much more possible.

I started Studio Brand Collective in 2013, all with a large dream, a passion for what I love and the drive to make it happen. I gave up a job I loved but had fallen out of love with to pursue a life fulfilling passion. And while each day as an entrepreneur is hard and challenging, I get to work with the most creative and bad-ass talent I know. As the chief brand strategist of Studio Brand Collective, I take an individual approach to every client. Over the past few years, I have concentrated on developing comprehensive brands and through a consistent, strategic approach to brand building, I’ve created a system that ultimately grows brands.

I have been featured as one of Houston’s leading brand consultants, pioneering great work for local and regional brands; a local hero by Houston magazine, and a Woman Who Means Business by the Houston Business Journal, among many others. But of all these accomplishments, by far my most proudest is each day I am able to do what I love and help those who need it!
